Day 2 – Sunday

Arrival at Logos , Nigeria

Welcome to the land of Nigeria for a memorable tour. On arrival at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, our airport representatives will meet and assist you transfer to your hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos – Nigeria’s Economic city capital one of the largest and modern city in Africa. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight rest from your flight. Your hotel is located conveniently nearby the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, and close to lively city center with shopping malls,and the clusters of outdoor stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.

Day-3 Monday

VISIT TO THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE

From The hotel , you will be making a courtesy visit to His Excellency, The Executive governor of Lagos State office for an official welcome to Lagos, Nigeria. VISIT TO THE NATIONAL MUSEUM From the governor’s office, you will be driven to the National Museum The Nigerian National Museum is located at Onikan rd. Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. The museum has a notable collection of Nigerian art, including pieces of statuary and carvings and archeological and ethnographic exhibits. Of note is a terra-cotta human head known as the Jemaa Head, part of the Nok Culture. Cameras are not allowed only inside the museum but you can take pictures outside within the grounds. The museum has a good scenery and some sculptures on its grounds. Gate fees are required to gain entrance but this will be taken care of by us. The Nigeria National Museum opens between the periods of 10am to 3pm every day of the week except for federal/national public holidays. There is no age limit for visiting the national museum.

Day-4 Tuesday

VISIT TO HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, THE OBA OF LAGOS

The Oba of Lagos Palace is Historical landmark in Lagos, Nigeria The Oba (King) of Lagos is the traditional, yet ceremonial, sovereign of Lagos, a coastal Yoruba settlement that went on to become the largest city in Africa and the financial heart of contemporary Nigeria. The king has no political power, but is sought as a counselor sponsor by Nigerian politicians who seek support from the various residents of Lagos. Among other ceremonial roles, the Oba also plays a central part in the Eyo Festival as well as indulging in tourism advertisements on behalf of the city, often stating “you’ve gotta go to Lagos”. (Wikipedia) VISIT TO LEKKI CONSERVATION CENTER Lekki Conservation center is a 78 hectare Natural Resource Conservation in Lekki, Lagos state The reserve area is located on Lekki peninsula next to the Lekki lagoon and near the Lagos lagoon. It protects the wetlands of the Lekki peninsula which consists of swamp and savannah habitats. Approaching the reserve there is a boulevard of coconut trees which leads to a well laid out car and Visitors Park. It is endowed with an abundance of plant and animal life. Its huge tract of wetlands is set aside for wildlife viewing. Raised walkways enable viewing of animals like monkeys, crocodiles, snakes and various birds. There is also a conservation center and a library. The wetlands are managed by the Nigerian conservation foundation, and it now includes a figure-of-eight system of footpaths, with hiking trails and stepping stones to cross waterways. A trail boardwalk was constructed in 1992 to enrich tourists’ view of the vast resources of the nature reserve which is encapsulated on a mangrove terrain. Side attractions along the trail include a swamp outlook, bird hide, rest stops and the tree house

VISIT TO TARKWA BAY BEACH

Tarkwa Bay Beach is an artificial sheltered beach located near the Lagos harbor in Nigeria. Due to its island status, it is only accessible by boat or water taxis. The beach, popular with swimmers and water-sports enthusiasts, also has a welcoming resident community. Its serene environment, beautiful rocks and not too crowded nature makes it a delight for tourists. Have fun and enjoy the fresh coconut and even buy and take away as many as you wish. Tarkwa Bay is a very nice beach especially for its secluded location. Enjoy it is even more enjoyable during its off peak periods like holidays. This is because you will have less crowd and holiday makers at the beach. The waves are usually sparkling and blue during the day thereby creating a beautiful scene of the nature that will be the delight of any tourist. Check out the jelly fish and other aquatic species. it is a quite an awesome beauty to behold. Tarkwa Bay Beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Africa because of its island status

Freedom Park is a memorial and leisure park area in the middle of downtown Lagos in Lagos Island, Nigeria which was formerly Her Majesty’s Broad Street Prison. It was designed by the Architect Theo Lawson. The Park was constructed to preserve the history and cultural heritage of Nigerians. (Wikipedia). Monuments in the park reveal the Lagos colonial heritage and the history of Her Majesty- the British Queen of England’s Broad Street prisons. It was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary independence celebration of Nigeria, in 2010. The Park serves as a National Memorial, a Historical Landmark, a Cultural site, Arts and Recreation Center. The park is now a serene attraction. It is open to the public every day and has become a venue for diverse social events and recreational entertainment. The Freedom Park is located in the heart of Lagos Island and hosts many arts works. It is a cool and enjoyable place to be. It has pond area where tourists usually go to cool off.
